[ there are days where Diluc is very much on top of everything at Angel's Share. keeping things stocked, customers in line, and managing questions. all in the name of showing face occasionally. and then, there are days like this one. he's tired and sluggish, having had to take a break from his usual nighttime activities and investigations because there was only one thing on his mind.
even the food he used to enjoy couldn't make the hunger he was feeling go away... very annoying. something delicious and comforting, and it tastes like ash.
but he tries anyway, keeping to smaller tasks while Charles manages the actual bartending. And when asked about it, he just waves it off as a mild discomfort from the journey that's keeping him distracted.
actually, perhaps... it was a mistake to leave Dawn Winery for the day, because towards the end of the day, he's frazzled by every single person that's still in the bar. All the drunks that would be easy targets-- and the amount of scolding himself he has to do for even considering it.
but he's so... thirsty. ]

Would you consider your character to be heroic? Why or why not?: I would! Diluc would possibly not consider himself that way, but in general, he's concerned with filling the gaps between where the Knights of Favonius can't help the people of Mondstadt, and stopping whatever thing is building at the edges of his sight. He does this outside of official channels, as a vigilante, yes. But he doesn't want credit. He hates that there's a rumor of a vigilante at all. So, even if his methods toy at the edge of grayness, his motives are very heroic... even despite the hint of wanting to take out all his anger on these dark forces.
